Mrs. Peatee
Director / Aftercare
Education: Masters of Education in Teaching and Curriculum, Lourdes University 2012

Experience: Miss Cheryl has over 30 years’ experience in the Early Childhood Education field. She has worked with infants through school aged children in the preschool setting and also had a family childcare center in her home when her own children were young. She actually helped start the preschool program here at Saint Joseph 15 years ago and is excited to share her love of teaching in a Catholic school!

More about me: I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Tim for 28 years. We have been blessed with two children. Our daughter Sami, is an Early Intervention specialist working with preschool children and our son Andrew (SJPS alum), is in the doctorate program at University of Findlay studying Occupational Therapy. As a family we love spending time together and especially enjoy camping, and kayaking!

Mrs. Moore
Teacher
Education: Owens Community College Associate Degree Early Childhood Education
Experience: Miss Heather began as a preschool teacher assistant with Miss Julie from 2012-2018. In 2018, she began teaching the Big-Hearted Bears class. Miss Heather has volunteered at SJPS for VBS, Sunday School, PTO, Positive Direction, and Festirama over the past 13 years.
More About Me: Miss Heather has been married to her husband Trevor, for 20 years. Their sons Kaden and Braeden are alum of SJPPS and SJPS and are now at St. John's Jesuit Highschool.
In my spare time I enjoy watching my sons play baseball, gardening, and travelling with my family to Florida.

Mrs. Hite
Teacher / EDE
Education: Monroe Community College
Experience: Miss Juile has been teaching preschool for 32 years. She has been at Saint Joseph Preschool for 10 years. She has always taught in a Catholic school setting and enjoys being able to teach about God daily.

More about me: I love teaching at Saint Joseph and watching children learn and discover the world around them! I am married to my wonderful husband Flyod and we have 2 daughters in college- Lauren and Anna. I enjoy cooking, baking and spending time with family and reading a good book.

Mrs. Huntebrinker
Teacher / EDE
Experience: Miss. Tracy has spent 11 years at home providing childcare to families while her
two boys were little. She was also a long term substitute for a preschool teacher at another local
Catholic school.

More about me: I’m a mom of 2 boys, Mason and Cole. I’ve been married to my husband, Chad,
for 13 years. I enjoy watching my sons play sports and attending Central Catholic football
games. In my spare time I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
Education: Western Governors University, Bachelor Degree in Special Education and Early
Elementary Preschool through 3rd Grade.

Mrs. Duran
Teacher
Experience: Miss Nicole taught preschool for a few years and then stayed home for 11 years with her own children. While her oldest two children attended preschool at Saint Joseph, she was happy to substitute for preschool. Then, in 2018, she became part of our Preschool team at Saint Joseph as the afternoon Extended Day Enrichment Teacher and has been the 4-5 year old teacher Lovable Lions for the last 2 years.

More about me: I am happily married to my husband, Marty for 17 years. We have four children: Lily, Grace, Gabe and Ellie. We also have one dog (Copper), two cats (Ginny and Luke) and many fish. In my spare time I enjoy cheering on my kids’ sports teams and activities!

Mrs. Conboy
Assistant
Experience: I have enjoyed teaching in Infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms for 28 years! This is my third year working as an assistant teacher in the Lovable Lion classroom.

More about me: I am married to my wonderful husband Rob. Together we have four children Jessica, Grace, Robby and Jacob. I have also been blessed with two grandchildren Nolan and Lennox. I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening and reading.

Mrs. Grega
Assistant / Extended Day Assistant
Experience: This is Ms. Leslie’s second year as a Pre-School Assistant in the Big-Hearted Bear classroom. She also helps assist in the Extended Day every afternoon. Ms. Leslie previously worked as a Teacher’s Assistant for SJPS in the 5th grade as well as an Extended Day Teacher for Kindergarten & 1st grades. She enjoys working with young children where she can show kindness in a faith based school curriculum while help fostering children’s individual personality traits.

Mrs. Thompson
Assistant
Experience: First year experience in a preschool environment, but has many years of childcare experience.

More about me: I have been married to my husband Scott for 11 years. Our oldest daughter started college at Michigan State fall of 2022. Our youngest children are twins who are in Kindergarten at SJPS. I love crafting, it’s my therapy! I also love traveling with my family.
