​ADMISSIONS PROCESS​

Kindergarten, 2nd and 6th grades currently have wait list for 2024-25.

Enrollment Schedule:

  • February 1 through February 14: Priority Enrollment: Priority enrollment is open to current school families, including preschool families and those with children entering Kindergarten. New students entering Kindergarten must first complete an application in FACTS, our school information system.

  • February 15 through February 29: Parish Enrollment: The second enrollment period is for parish families wanting to enroll a student for the first time in grades 1-8 OR for existing families who have an older sibling to enroll. Families will create a FACTS account and begin with completing an application.

  • March 1: Open Enrollment: The third and final enrollment period is for ALL families who wish to register a new student. Families will create a FACTS account and begin with completing an application.
     

Re-Enrollment for returning families (including preschool families who have an incoming kindergartner)

Step 1 – Enrollment Complete a re-enrollment form through FACTS and pay registration. Our District Code is STJS-OH.

 

Step 2 – FACTS Tuition Payment Agreement and enrollment package completion Choose a Tuition Payment method and plan in FACTS and submit your enrollment packet. An email will be sent from FACTS confirming that the packet is complete. This is the only way you will ensure a spot for next school year.

 

Step 3 – Acceptance All current students who completed Step 2 and have paid all current balances and are in good financial standing will receive an acceptance letter via email.

New Students in Grades 1-8
Step 1 – Complete the online application – Click Apply above.
Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and will follow the enrollment schedule.

 

Step 2 – Our Admissions office will contact you to set up a meeting. An assessment will take place with your child at this time. A copy of test scores and a previous grade card will be required for this meeting. If your child is on an ISP, IEP, or receives intervention of any type, please bring a copy with you.
 

Step 3 – An email will be sent from the Admissions office regarding next steps, including the enrollment form. If there is no space available, we will contact you to be added to the waiting list. The enrollment schedule will be followed.
 

Step 4 – Once enrollment documentation is completed, the Admissions office will need a completed records release form. The student’s original birth certificate and baptismal certificate (if applicable) must be presented to the office for a copy to be made as well.
 

New Kindergarten Students
Step 1 – Complete the online application – Click Apply above.
Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and will follow the enrollment schedule.

 

Step 2 – An enrollment form will be sent after review of the application.
 

Step 3 – An assessment will be scheduled to gauge the student’s strengths and opportunities.
 

Step 4 – Once enrollment documentation is completed, the Admissions office will need a Kindergarten Student Information Form and Health Forms to be completed. The student’s original birth certificate and baptismal certificate (if applicable) must be presented to the office for a copy to be made as well.
 

Admissions Policies:
Students are officially admitted after the return of all required paperwork, completion of any required placement tests, and payment of accrued fees.


All newly admitted students entering Saint Joseph Parish School are probationary for the first year. The school reserves the right to remove the/any student if behavioral and/or academic criteria are not met at any point during the first year. Saint Joseph Parish School Administration reserves the right to deny enrollment to any child due to a parent’s non-compliance of rules and/or misrepresentation of child or family information.

All obligations to previously attended schools must be satisfied before registration at Saint Joseph Parish School is considered complete.

The order of filling vacancies will be from the date of registration in the parish for parishioners and from the date of registration in the school for non-parishioners.
