What is Scrip?: Scrip is a term that means "substitute money." When you purchase scrip, you are purchasing negotiable gift certificates that are used just like cash. The merchant refunds a portion of your purchase to:

  • provide tuition assistance for students of member families
  • assist other families via the St. Joseph School Tuition Assistance Fund
  • pledge commitments to St. Joseph Church
