Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO)

The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) at St. Joseph School is the volunteer organization that provides opportunities at a variety of levels, for participation in activities and on committees that are designed to enrich and serve the educational environment and lives of our students, their parents, and teachers.  Parents as well as other family members are welcome to get involved!

Volunteering has allowed me to re-evaluate my motivation for sending my children to St. Joe's. It is refreshing to surround myself with other parents and teachers giving of their time and talents to make a difference. – Tami Lonsway

I would encourage all parents, regardless of which school you may choose for your family, to seek ways to become more involved.  That involvement can take many, many forms.  We choose SJS because it   provides our children with a top notch education, in an environment that is supportive, encouraging, and guided by the Catholic faith.     Parents are encouraged to take an active role in their children’s education, both in and out of the classroom, and the entire community is better for it!

Want to meet some of your child’s classmate’s parents?  Here is a fun way to get involved with St. Joseph School and meet some great moms and dads.  Below is a list of PTO committees that need your help.  You can give an hour or a day, volunteer at home or at school, bake muffins, or learn about saints.  The opportunities are boundless!
