Admissions

Thank you for your interest in St Joseph School!  We welcome the opportunity to meet with you, give a guided tour, or have your child shadow as a "Jaguar for a Day." The 2017 Kindergarten Information Nights will take place on the west campus on Wednesday, January 18 or Tuesday, February 2.  Additional opportunities for enrollment information are Sunday, January 29 from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m and Sunday, March 5 from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  Please send your RSVP and/or enrollment inquiries to Mrs. Juli Snyder at jsnyder@stjoesylvania.org.

The following information outlines our policies for admissions:

  1. All currently enrolled students (K – 7) will have priority of registration.
  2. Siblings of school families that are registered supporting members of St. Joseph Parish.
  3. New students belonging to families that are registered supporting members of St. Joseph Parish. (Of this group, first priority will be given to those students coming from St. Joseph Preschool.) Length of registration in the Parish will determine the priority of subsequent children accepted.
  4. Siblings of school families that are not registered supporting members of St. Joseph Parish.  (Of this group, first priority will be given to those students coming from St. Joseph Preschool.)
  5. New students belonging to families that are not registered supporting member of St. Joseph Parish. (Of this group, first priority will be given to those students coming from St. Joseph Preschool.)

All obligations to previously attended schools must be satisfied before registration at St. Joseph School is completed.

Order of filling vacancies will be from date of registration in the Parish for parishioners and from date of registration in the school for non-parishioners.

No registrations will be taken before the child is of an age to enter the school.  However, a mailing list will be maintained for any family wishing to receive communication regarding registration.
